In progress EP → the base concept is exploring how to communicate the corruption of a memory in a digital acoustic form.

The first track starts from a sample from American Football’s Never Ends - a song from my teenage years.

The second track deviates from the original idea and instead tries to convey the degradation in a compression form. The formal structure is based on an Autoencoder Neural Network architecture. We start from a clear sound object, and through it’s repetition and evolution we arrive at silence. From there the sound object is reconstructed but in a degrated form.
